Julia's trip to Poland

Summer vacation in Poland aren't just fun and hot--> they are the best chance to go for shopping. And that is exactly what Julia did. She mostly fell in love with a Vero Moda blazer (similar here: http://www.stormfilm.de/damen-vero-moda-nunow-blazer-schwarz-fashion-p-368.html ). It might be the most comfortable blazer we have seen for a long time!
Because of its color and simply cut, it is an absolutely must-have in everyone's wardrobe and easy to combine with everything. We love to wear it with a casual outfit because it gives the whole thing a touch of business and class.
You just need a pair of sneaker, your favorite jeans, a simply t-shirt, the blazer and your outfit is complete:)

What is a visit at your family without a gift? That was exactly what Julia's aunt knew and gave her a pair of shoes and a top. Julia's first thoughts were that she could wear the new stuff with her wonderful skirt which we thankfully got from New Look.
And this is the result which you could really good wear for an event or a nights out with friends:)

DIMITRI SS16

Dimitrios Panagiotopoulos which is the designer behind the label DIMITRI knows how to surprise us every single season again!
Last time with his very own designed shoes and now with a cooperation with the Munich based label UHLALÁ Beachwear. The capsule collection "Oriental Beach Dreams" comes with innovative cuts, oriental and Indian influences as well as bright colors and prints. For those who can't wait to wear this fabulous beachwear, the collection is available already: DIMITRI

But the beachwear isn't the most impressive point of his collection.
DIMITRI gives Ready-to-Wear a new face- wearable high fashion with that certain something.
His latest Spring/Summer 16 collection is full of colors and Rock'n'Roll inspirations. Fringes, crinkles and handmade fabrics from India and Morocco lend the summer styles a laid-back sex appeal and 70's cuts evoke festival feelings.

Rebekka Ruétz SS16

MBFWB: Persönliche Einladung - rebekka ruétz Runway-Show

A TOUCH OF FRIDA was the name of
Rebekka Ruétz' latest SS16 collection.
And yes, the collection was Frida Kahlo!
We were impressed about everything- the pieces with a print which seemed to be full of birds but in real they were eyebrows or the music which showed the character of the artist Frida Kahlo.
In addition to that, Rebekka Ruétz used many fair and bright colors like red or orange , combined them with lilac and blue and made feminine cuts which were supported by oversized belts.

To complete the package, the models were wearing some big floral wreaths in their hair. Isn't that absolutely Frida Kahlo?

We love tigha!

Tigha was found in 2009. Everything started with the search for the perfect leather jacket. From season to season they re-interpreted this item in a new way!
But leather jackets aren't their only offers. In the last years they also added products, like t-shirts with unusual prints, clean jerseys and shirts in special cuts, high quality pants, shorts and skirts.

We think tigha is a basic, wearable label with much potential and a touch of love:)

Marc Stone SS15 show!

Do you feel the summer?-No?
Since yesterday, we do!
We had the chance to see the SS15 show of talented designer Marc Stone at the shopping mall Bikini Berlin.
It was an amazing collection with nice high quality fabrics, patterns in perfection and beautiful colors.
He mixed fair and descent "colors" with eye catcher in red. We think that's a real statement for the closing summer.
We can't wait to wear his designs soon!

German Press Days!

It was time-finally! The German Press Days in Berlin.
We want to thank every press agency which has hosted us! It was fun visiting you:)

We can say that the German fashion industry has some amazing collections for A/W15! Because of time reasons, we hadn't the chance to make many photos but on Instagram we have some of the A/W15 collections:)

The first agency, we visit, was FakePr. Their labels were mostly orientated in street wear. We enjoyed there our first RAW Detox drink and it was delicious!!
Almost every agency offered them and we loved every single sort:)
After FakePr, we went to Absolution where we met one of the cutest pr girls.
She was so friendly and we enjoyed the tour with her through the labels like Property of..,Cross Jeans or Alice's Pig.
Alice's Pig was our favorite! They make vintage orientated clothes from different years-great!

Have a look on their homepage: http://alicespig.com/

Then, we went to Arne Eberle and we were surprised by a classic Julian Zigerli collection. He is known for his crazy and unnormal style but now he created a nice line with basic pieces.
Another one of our favorites was CRUBA. The designer was there on her own and she explained to us that her collection is inspired of a beetle. We loved her collection with amazing fabrics and great patterns.

Visit her homepage to become an idea: http://cruba-mirabecker.com/

Now we want to come to our favorite agency. Blackbird! They have moved to a new studio and we were so impressed by it because it's just gorgeous! You feel home there and it's very charming:)
They showed labels like Marina Hoermanseder, Oasis, Dr. Martens or Miami.
Our favorites here were Marina Hoermanseder and Dr. Martens.
Marina has an own special style and works a lot with leather. We have already reported about her collection in the article of fashion week, have a look. (And pss! the bags are available for pre-order now)
Dr. Martens created gorgeous shoes and bags with nice comic inspired prints.

Make a small visit at their homepages:

The last agency was
We were excited to visit them because they have some nice new and well known names as their clients.
Next to Liebeskind Berlin, Isabell de Hillerin and Bogner, they presented the young label ALMA FRIEDA. We loved the idea behind their juwellery. They have on the items small dots or circles which are standing for every part of life!

See the idea on your own:

Summer is coming but we can't wait for autumn to wear amazing collections made in Germany!

Sorry...but changes come!:)

In last time, we weren't really present on the blog. Reason for that were our MSA-Presentations. The MSA is a kind of "small graduation" here in Berlin. For that we had to make a presentation on a topic of our choice. I decided to make my one on the Berlin based fashion designer Marina Hoermanseder.
I had the chance to work with her and it was an amazing result.

Anyway...there was not much time for the blog. But now, it will change and I think the spring can come!
I am always active on Instagram. You can follow me there and see daily posts- I am looking forward to seeing you there;)

The Berlin thing...

Some people spend their money for useful things.
But I do that for much more useful ones-clothes!
In the last weeks, I bought a nice shirt from Hien Le and Julian Zigerli and today I was at a sale of Aleks Kurkowski. The pieces and the prices were so great! I had no other chance than to buy.
Anyway, I will tell you about Aleks Kurkowski and Hien Le more in an other post-stay tuned!
For the shopping day, I decided to wear something comfortable with a bit of classic. I took my wonderful Julian Zigerli shirt, which reminds me of a honeycomb with electric elements. I was in love with this shirt since I saw it for the first time.
To make this outfit complete, I decided to combine it with a basic jeans, my navy blue trench coat and a nice cotton bag.

Here's a list of what I'm wearing:

•shirt-Julian Zigerli
•(fine shirt under the "honeycomb"-H&M)
•trench-ZARA
•bag-Kauf Dich Glücklich (a nice concept store in Berlin)
•jeans-ZARA
•shoes-Nike

Good Food-Good Feeling

You are looking for one of the most tasteful food "stations" in Berlin? And you are also interested in the best view?
-Than, we can just say SKYKITCHEN!
The Skykitchen is a brand new restaurant located at the Andel's Hotel Berlin. The grand opening which we were invited to, was last Friday and it was a great party.
We had the chance to try some of their delicious dishes-great!
We think the nice location and the great food make the Skykitchen to the best location for an evening dinner.
So hurry up and try it out!

Some impressions on the party:

HUNKEMÖLLER SWIMWEAR COLLECTION LAUNCH!

When we got the invitation for the collection launch of Hunkemöller (a label for underwear), we weren't really sure wether this would be something for us. But we thought: "Ok, it could be very interesting, let's try it out".
And yes, they surprised us in more than a positive way. It was just great! The event was at the SohoHouse Berlin- maybe the best location in the city. You came in the loft and you thought, you were in a summer paradise! Everywhere were beautiful bright flowers and everything was in a kind of Caribian style. Some nice music, tastefully bites, and smoothies made the package complete.
But the highlight was the collection!
Devided in different parts, they showed many beautiful and colorful bikinis.
We were surprised of the "Sylvie Collection". Consist of nice prints and amazing green tones- good job!

If you are looking for a gorgeous bikini, go to Hunkemöller and buy one of their ones!

Fashion Week Berlin-Shows AW15

First of all, we want to thank the designers and their press agencies for inviting us to the shows!
We had the chance to attend the show of Charlotte Ronson, DIMITRI, Rike Feurstein, ZUKKER, Black Soma, Efrat Kalig, Thomas Hanisch and Marina Hoermanseder.
The diversity was gorgeous.

Charlotte Ronson opened the Fashion Week. She was the only one who presented a SS15 collection. But that wasn`t bad because she came from New York and the collection was so beautiful. Fair colors and many dots on some pieces.

DIMITRI brang the Greek-Italian flair to Berlin. The designer is famous for his beautiful evening and cocktail dresses. And it`s true! Bright colors, ethno-inspired prints and sharp contrasts. Good job!
For the the first time, he also presented shoes on the catwalk.

Rike Feurstein-her show was unique. Except from her beautiful coats and shirts with fair colors and prints, she presented as the only one dog accessoires! Of course, there were also dogs with the models on the catwalk. Some things went wrong, but this was why the show was so interesting.

ZUKKER presented a quite sporty collection and used much black and grey. But they also had some eyecatcher pieces in brown and yellow/green.

Black Soma took us to a magical journey in the dark.
As you can hear it from the name, everything was in black. High quality materials and feathers with the great installation made it complete.

Efrat Kalig was the only designer who showed Haute Couture. The dresses were gorgeous-very elegant and expensive. The Tel-Aviv based designer made a good job! We were impressed.

Thomas Hanisch made his debut during this Fashion Week. He graduated from ESMOD Berlin and is known for his crazy clothes. His creations doesn`t only make us speakless, but also singer Lady Gaga too which wore one of his dresses during her birthday party.

Marina Hoermanseder made the absolutely best show for us! After presenting some pieces at Premium, we were flashed to see the whole collection at the runway.
She made a unique show. Beginning with a 'dancing strawberry' in a red leather buckle dress, she presented a nice Ready-to-Wear collection with her fetish elements.
At the end she brought her crew to the runway and this was just a great gesture.
Bravo Marina!
